Description

Maltodextrin is a composition of polysaccharides (30-70% maltose) and oligosaccharides obtained from potato starch. It is loose white powder characterized by high viscosity, high solubility and high hygroscopicity.  It is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose and might be either moderately sweet or almost flavorless. It is commonly used for the production of soft drinks and candy.

It can also be found as an ingredient in a variety of other processed foods.
– in baby formula and nutrition powders
– in confectionary products like candy and sweets
– in biscuits, cakes, wafers, cake stuffing and fillings
– in powdered foodstuff products like sauces, soups, spices, fruit extracts
– in fruit drinks, syrups, energy drinks, and isotonic drinks
– in medical substances like tablets, syrups, vitamins and supplements
– in frozen foods like ice-cream and deserts
– in meat industry

Raw material for the production of maltodextrin is starch potato from potatoes grown in Poland. The product is not genetically modified, and has not been produced from genetically modified raw materials. It is free from allergens. It does not undergo ionization processing.

Maltodextrin is suitable for all consumer groups, including vegetarians, ovo-lacto-vegeterians, vegans, and coeliac patients.

The following maltodextrin types can be distringuished:
– low-saccharified – N
– medium-saccharified – S
– high-saccharified – W

Taste: slightly sweet, free from foreign taste
Color: white
Moisture: max. 6.0%
pH: 4.2 – 6.0

– 700 kg big bags
– and other packaging according to customer’s needs as per their designs and the requested weight

Shelf life
2 years from the date of production.

Storage
Maltodextrin should be stored and shipped in a cool, dry environment with temperatures below 20°C and relative humidity 60 to 75%.
